We believe in restoring the natural components of agricultural landscapes
Our principles for transformation
Ecological restoration
We support the development and implementation of sustainable agricultural practices by facilitating access to economic and technical resources for interested farmers, while promoting the regeneration of water-soil-plants cycles.
Rural Communities empowerment
We provide purposeful rural communities with the tools and means to design and execute landscape transformation plan, supporting deep dialogues and the alignment of multi actors toward a concrete vision for change.
Climate resilience of agrosystems
We research and advocate for the adoption of innovative methodologies that enhance the ability of agricultural systems to mitigate climate change, generating environmental, economic, and social co-benefits.
Rural education and knowledge transfer
We raise public awareness and encourage citizen engagement in addressing climate change through campaigns, educational events, and the dissemination of relevant information on sustainable solutions
The future
we want to create
We envision a world where agrifood systems use long-term sustainable practices, leading to positive sociocultural and economic impacts. Our commitment is to create greater opportunities for rural communities and advance its prosperity.
Projects we are contributing to
Smart governance and operational tools for agroecological carbon farming
Funded by PRIMA, H2020, this project started in April 2022 with a duration of 36 months. The project is validating potential carbon schemes as a mechanism to accelerate the diffusion of regenerative farming practices in the Mediterranean.
Balancing nitrogen and phosphorus flows by budgeting at regional scale
Funded by Horizon Europe (HE), this project will start in January 2025 with a duration of 48 months. The project will deliver a demonstrated set of solutions that limit N/P emissions and re-balance regional N/P flows within safe ecological boundaries.
